The Solution: eCurv Asynchronous RegulationTM

eCurv's patent-pending IP-based system utilizes predictive asynchronous regulation software algorithms and remotely-managed intelligent switches to optimize peak and non-peak power consumption. Our Asynchronous  Regulation system reduces utility bills for eCurv subscribing customers by 11% or greater …without the costs or impact of a major infrastructure overhaul.

We accomplish this by eliminating the excessive expense of peak power demand charges.

In a traditional electric installation, electric equipment has unrestricted access to power regardless of its type or end use. Sensor-automated appliances respond to environmental factors without human interaction or consideration of potential cost. When a critical mass of appliances draw power concurrently, a coincident peak demand “resonance” occurs.

Notwithstanding this phenomena, the electric grid, because of its mandate to do so, will supply all the power demanded of it, and pass on the excessive costs to acquire additional power capacity directly to its customers. Peak demand, and consequent costs to both the utilities and consumers, continues as long as  the  conditions that trigger synchronous/resonant operation persist.

The Asynchronous Regulation Response
In order to mitigate resonant operational behavior, eCurv developed its patent-pending system to mitigate the need for expensive coincident peak power resources. By applying the principle of asynchronous regulation, appliances access their power supply in an orderly fashion, minimizing the power draw collisions that lead to coincident peak demand. eCurv's asynchronous regulation controls an appliances’ access to electric power while delivering a reliable grade of service, eliminating the premium cost associated with peak demand charges, and reducing operational expenses related to electric utility charges by over 11%.
